1877 - Tribute to Kennedy's Sausages (and Pies) by Alan Edwards - 2007

18a High Street, SOUTH NORWOOD

This Kennedys shop had a Bus Stop right outside, Norwood Junction railway station was close by.

The "Sun Ray" Art deco transom window lights look very attractive with the old style globe lamp shades lit inside the shop. The fascia lettering was of a plain style and not the usual ornate style. Photo taken on the 12/12/07.

 Grade 2 listed Kennedy's South Norwood shop looked very unloved when I paid a visit on 9th February 2019
